WHITEFISH - Maggie Voisin made a triumphant return to the slopes last weekend. Unfortunately it didn't last long.
The 16-year-old from Whitefish had the best slopestyle ski score in the semifinals at a Dew Tour event in Breckenridge Colo., but she suffered an injury on her first run in finals, and tore the ACL in her left knee.
Voisin qualified for the Olympics in January, but injured her ankle in training and could not compete in Sochi.
The Breckenridge event was her competitive return from that setback. Now she'll miss all of this season.
But Voisin sent out a very positive Facebook post yesterday, thanking all of her supporters.
