KALISPELL -

Imagine IF Libraries has received the top award in the nation. The John Cotton Dana Library Public Relations Award selected eight winners out of almost 80 entries.

The award recognizes efforts towards its strategy for re-branding, new programs and community involvement with limited resources.

A plaque and $10,000 will be presented at the awards ceremony.

"It'll be a great way to connect with other libraries in the nation. We're going to go to the American Library Association conference in June in San Francisco to receive the award and there we'll be able to talk to other libraries and share our success stories and get our name more in the national library world," said Imagine IF Public Services Librarian April Vomfell.

It's been a great year for the Imagine IF family. The Montana Library Association presented them with their first Library of the Year Award in April.
