BOZEMAN - Professional women learned some tips Thursday for being business leaders, with more than 250 ladies attending the Women to Women Conference, which focused on professional development and networking.

Montana State University's Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship hosts the annual conference, and this year's theme was "Staying True to Your Passion in Business and in Life."

Attendees heard from speakers and learned about topics such as conflict resolution, leadership and online marketing strategies.

Organizers say they're seeing more women stepping up into leadership roles.

"And whether or not they are at the top or they are the owner of a business or they are within a business, they can really I think bring change and a lot of creativity and innovation into those positions," said Audrey Capp, MSU Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship Communications Director.

Partners for the conference this year included the Prospera Business Network, the Montana Women's Business Center and Women's Circle of Excellence.
