Parole has been denied for a former University of Montana football player who was sentenced to 10 years in prison for rape.
The Montana Board of Pardons and Parole denied parole for Beau Donaldson, who was convicted of raping a childhood friend in 2012 on Friday morning.
Judge Karen Townsend sentenced Donaldson in January of 2013 to 30 years in the Montana State Prison, with 20 years suspended, after he plead guilty to the rape.
This was the first time Donaldson was eligible for parole.
