GREAT FALLS -

Gun enthusiasts in the Electric City headed out to the Montana ExpoPark this weekend to take in some classic fire arms.

Sunday was the third day and final of the annual Gun and Antique Show, and people were able to buy guns, knives, furniture, and jewelry.

Organizers brought in the High Standard Collectors Association for this year's event.

The group is based all over the country and are interested in the High Standard brand of firearms.

High Standard Collectors Association President Jon Miller says the firearms are considered efficient and extremely accurate.

“They are usually pistols but sometimes shotguns and rifles as well. There just really unique, class, and quality firearms,” Miller said.

Members also enjoy sharing the history of the High Standards.

"We have looked into the history of them and we have persevered the history of them as well as we can. We are always researching. I always go back to the national archives every couple years, to pull out more information. I do World War II era. That's my specially the silent guns but each of us have our own individual part that we like,” Miller said.

The show wrapped up for the weekend but will be back in the spring.
