MCSO chaplain helps in Super Bowl sex trafficking sting

MISSOULA -

The FBI, in partnership with more than 30 enforcement agencies in the San Francisco Bay Area, recovered seven juveniles during an enforcement action focused on commercial human sex trafficking.

More than a dozen pimps and their associates were arrested, some of whom traveled to the area from other states specifically for the purpose of commercial sex exploitation at the Super Bowl were arrested.

MTN News recently reported that Missoula County Sheriff's Office Chaplain Lowell Hochhalter was working with an international group who works to abolish sex and labor trafficking.

Hochhalter spent the week leading up to the Super Bowl on the streets of the Bay Area looking for potential victims of human slavery.

The minors recovered during Super Bowl 50 operations ranged in ages from 14 to 17 years old and included high school students and children who had been reported missing by their families.
