2016 National Park Service Centennial being marked Wednesday

Glacier Country Tourism is hosting a birthday party on Wednesday to mark the 2016 National Park Service Centennial.

The celebration is open to the public and will include remarks from Montana's Lieutenant Governor Mike Cooney and  Glacier National Park Superintendent Jeff Mow.

The party will feature free appetizers and cocktails from many local food and drink distributors, as well as informational tables from Glacier National Park Conservancy and Glacier National Park.

The celebration will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Glacier Outdoor Center in West Glacier.
