Montana City missing woman found alive

The Montana City woman first reported missing Sunday afternoon has been found alive.

Victoria Gulick, 51, was found Monday around 6:45 p.m. alive and well in the area search and rescue crews were looking.

Victoria’s husband, Steven, told KTVH she did not have any injuries as she found a warm place to take shelter.

“We just have to commend all the search and rescue efforts for their hard work and a job well done,” said Steven Gulick. 

Victoria was last seen Sunday afternoon before going on a hike. Elkhorn Search and Rescue, a helicopter and volunteers scoured the area of the Saddle Mountain Estates.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office also aided in the search efforts.

Jefferson County Sheriff Craig Doolittle reported on Monday that a missing persons alert has been issued for Victoria Gulick of Montana City.

Gulick's daughter told MTN News that Gulick, 50 years old, appeared to have gone for a walk and never came back.

She was last seen at 3 p.m. on Sunday near the Shadow Mountain area wearing a black hat, black yoga pants, a dark coat, and what appeared to be a a knee brace.

Her daughter says Gulick was last seen on Grassy Mountain Road in the Saddle Mountain area.

Gulick is 5'10', about 160 pounds, with blondish brown hair and blue eyes.

At this time Sheriff Doolittle does not suspect foul play.

A dog team and and a helicopter are searching the area. Volunteers are helping to search as well.
