Man hospitalized after Whitehall shooting

WHITEHALL -

Authorities are investigating a shooting that sent a 24-year-old man in Whitehall to the hospital.

Jefferson County Undersheriff Mike Johnson says the victim was shot at around 11 p.m. on Saturday.

The man was taken to St. James HealthCare in Butte for treatment.

An investigation into the shooting is underway.

No other details are being released at this time.
