MISSOULA -

The Missoula Art Museum and Montana artists are putting the finishing touches on the Art Park set to open for Earth Day.

The park will open on the corner of Pattee and Pine streets in downtown Missoula and will feature the work of six artists.

Montana artist and University of Montana alumni Patrick Zentz was busy putting together his Cycle-slash-S display on Thursday.

It uses a wagon wheel and bike wheel to respond to the wind and sun to make a more interactive art display.

The exhibit is one of the works that will be displayed during the inaugural exhibition of the "By the Bike" show displayed in the new park.

"It's a grand way to treat this street and what's happened here and it exposes art, in a way that this museum has an incredible expertise in doing so I'm happy to be a participant with them, Zentz said."

The "By the Bike" exhibit will be up through November.
