Suspect arrested in Missoula County on Great Falls murder charge

GREAT FALLS -

A suspect has been arrested and charged with deliberate homicide and felony theft after Great Falls Police investigated a suspicious death on Saturday afternoon.

Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1800 block of Second Avenue North just after noon on Saturday.

The department later issued a press release asking for the public's help in finding a vehicle involved in the case. The vehicle was spotted by the Missoula County Sheriff's Office near Clearwater Junction at around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Police then released another statement saying the investigation was ongoing and involves multiple counties and agencies. The suspect is scheduled to make an initial appearance in court on Tuesday, May 30 in Missoula.

The name of the victim has not yet been released pending family notification.
