A woman from out of state was killed in the crash on Tuesday, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
MHP reports that the woman was the driver of a car that attempted to pass another vehicle and hit a pickup truck head-on.
The woman, who was wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no passengers in the woman's vehicle and the occupants of the truck were not injured, according to MHP.
The woman's name has not been released.
The crash occurred on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation.
