The Western Governors Association meeting wrapped up Wednesday in Whitefish with five new policy resolutions formally approved.
Governor Steve Bullock hosted governors from across the west this week for the annual meeting.
Among them was endorsing the aims of the Endangered Species Act, while including some changes for Congress to consider.
The republican-dominated association identified key areas that need to be addressed in the ESA, including “providing greater distinction between the management of threatened versus endangered species in ESA to allow for greater management flexibility.”
