Talen Energy now says it wants to continue its involvement with power plant operations in Colstrip.
According to Puget Sound Energy, Talen recently revoked its letter to resign as an operator next year.
Talen is part-owner of two of the Colstrip plants and manages all four.
Puget Sound spokesman Grant Ringell says since Talen has decided to continue, so there's no need to find a new operator.
Ringell says the Talen decision has no effect on the closure of Colstrip units one and two, which are scheduled to be shut down in 20-22.
