A Florida man in Missoula working for Northstar amusement carnival was arrested after leading police on a high-speed chase through town.

Michael Andrew Singer, 53, is charged with criminal endangerment, fleeing from police, failure to stop at the scene of an accident and DUI.

Prosecutors say in court documents that on Thursday afternoon 911 dispatch received several calls of a man driving erratically through Missoula neighborhoods while driving on a rim without a tire.

At some point, the Jeep crashed into another vehicle injuring the driver but Singer kept driving.

Officers were able to catch up with him and continued to pursue him until they were able to get him stopped near the Southgate Mall.

Singer told police he was high on meth and hadn't slept for four days.

Singer is being held on $150,000 bail.
