HAMILTON - A man in Hamilton is charged with two counts of felony criminal endangerment and multiple other misdemeanor offenses after nearly striking a Hamilton police car when they tried to pull him over on Monday.
Prosecutors say in court documents that 32-year-old Beau Daniel McGillivray was arrested after he fled from police when they tried to pull him over for speeding in the city.
After a pursuit, Police lost sight of the fleeing vehicle. The vehicle was later located and stopped. When police approached the vehicle, they noticed a gun in the back seat.
According to court documents, a female passenger was in the vehicle with McGillivray and said she was afraid for her life.
McGillivray was on felony probation. Both the gun and the white 2012 Toyota Sequoia he was driving were reportedly stolen.
