KALISPELL - The Glacier Park International Airport says they've set new records for the number of summer passengers in 2017.
The airport welcomed almost 113,000 total passengers between June and September this year, up almost 14% from last summer’s numbers.
This record also marks the first summer in history that Glacier Park International Airport saw more than 40,000 outbound passengers pass through the airport in a single month.
The airport plans to accommodate the growth in traffic with airport officials putting together a master plan to help streamline operations.
That process is in the "outreach phase" while airport officials learn what passengers have to say about their facility.
