New Missoula Ward 2 representative selected

MISSOULA - The Missoula City Council appointed has Mirtha Becerra to represent the Ward 2 seat left vacant after Ruth Ann Swaney resigned.

Becerra is a former planner for the City of Missoula. Her appointment begins immediately and will expire January 2020.

Ward 2 represents the Westside and Grant Creek neighborhoods and areas in the city limits west of North Russell Street.
