GREAT FALLS - The annual Montana Grain Growers Association convention and trade show kicked off in Great Falls on Tuesday.
It is being held at the Best Western Heritage Inn in Great Falls where farmers from across the state are meeting for the three-day event with a full line-up of speakers.
Michelle Erickson-Jones, vice-president of MGGA, said that this is a chance for farmers to learn new technologies and to discuss policy issues impacting their business.
"We definitely emphasize on where policy issue is in Washington D.C. Thats a lot of our work. Marketing as well as research and consumer issues, we try and hit on all of that. And we definitely focus on - this is when we set our policies so we have time set aside to get resolutions from our members,” Erickson-Jones said.
Anyone is welcome to go to the trade show and you can register for different parts of the event.
