MISSOULA - A Missoula man will spend 11 years in federal prison after being found guilty on drug charges.

Yancy Lee McCrea, 31, will also face five years of supervised release after pleading guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Prosecutors say law enforcement found McCrea, a fugitive at the time, in his car on June 3, 3016.

Law enforcement searched the car and seized approximately 95.9 grams of pure methamphetamine, two handguns, four magazines, 112 rounds of ammunition, and $3,350 in cash, according to court documents.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Tara Elliott and investigated by the Northwest Drug Task Force and the United States Marshals Service.
