BILLINGS -- A Billings man allegedly admitted he raped his teenage daughter’s friend more than 10 times, according to court documents filed ahead of the man’s Thursday court appearance.

Erik Young, 39, was set to appear in Yellowstone County Justice Court on Thursday for the charge of sexual intercourse without consent.

Officials at a high school in Billings notified police that a 14-year-old student was involved in a romantic relationship with a much older man.

The girl admitted she had stayed with Young multiple times from August to October of this year and admitted to sexual contact.

Young allegedly admitted he raped the victim, but said he only had sex with the girl after she initiated the contact.

He estimated that he had raped the girl approximately 10 times.

Young is being held at the Yellowstone County jail without bond.
