MISSOULA - Living Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church is having a Christmas Eve candlelight service on Dec. 24 beginning at 6 p.m. The event will feature Christmas carols, scripture readings, recitations from children and candlelight singing. MISSOULA - Mountain Line will be closed Dec. 25 in observance of the Christmas holiday.  All 12 fixed routes, Paratransit, Senior Van, and the customer service line will be closed for the day. Normal weekday service will resume on Dec. 26.

DARBY - Stepping up for Sunshine is a benefit for Jake Sanders who is recovering from cancer. This event will be held on New Year's Eve at the Darby Clubhouse and will hold a social, hour, dinner, live music, and a silent auction.

ST. REGIS - The St. Regis Community Center is inviting everyone to ring in the new year with them at their 'Say Hello to 2018' celebration on New Year's Eve. The pot-luck dinner will begin at 6 p.m. with dancing and live music provided by the eagle's nest band. Be sure to bring your favorite side dish.

MISSOULA - Buried in Treasures is a new group forming in Missoula to help those address hoarding behavior. Sessions begin at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Jan. 15 at 1 p.m. Call (406) 666-9326 for more information.

 MISSOULA - Community Medical Center and the Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce have teamed up to provide health screenings on Jan. 20 at CMC's cancer center. A general health screen will be $20. Lipid and glucose, as well as vitamin D screenings, will also be available.
