MISSOULA - Missoula Mayor John Engen, Municipal Court Judge Kathleen Jenks and six newly-elected Missoula City Council Members were sworn-in to office on Tuesday.

Council members sworn in include Bryan von Lossberg from Ward 1, Jordan Hess from Ward 2, Heather Harp in Ward 3, Jesse Ramos from Ward 4, Stacie Anderson in Ward 5 and Julie Merritt representing Ward 6.

Family, friends and community members were in attendance to celebrate the occasion.

The beginning of the year represents a new start and these newly-elected representatives say they are ready to get started on fulfilling their campaign missions.

“My campaign slogan was, “A Missoula that works for everyone”, and now is an opportunity to really put that into practice and work to see how and make sure I represent the people of Ward 5, as well as all Missoulians,” says Ward 5 Representative Stacie Anderson.

Tuesday’s ceremony was held at Missoula City Council Chambers.
