MISSOULA - Drivers are being advised to use some extra caution until about 12 p.m. on Thursday.
Montana Rail Link is in the process of moving 110 train cars out of the Bitterroot Valley and back into Missoula.
The Bitterroot Branch hasn't seen activity in quite some time, so drivers in Lolo and Missoula should be prepared for some delays.
The largest train crossing to be affected will be at Brooks and Reserve streets in Missoula.
Over 500 train cars were parked along the tracks -- including in the Lolo and Florence areas -- when MRL saw a slowdown in business.
The Bitterroot Branch Line hasn't been used for active shipments for over five years.
