HAMILTON - A man accused of DUI was found to be in possession of two guns and a large quantity of drugs with intent to distribute, according to Ravalli County Sheriff's deputies.
Robert Anglyn Shropshire, 31, was arrested early Tuesday morning in Ravalli County.
Shropshire was arrested and charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute. He is also being charged with criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of alcohol and or drugs and a felony count of use or possession of property subject to criminal forfeiture.
Prosecutors say in court documents that at about 12:40 a.m. Tuesday, deputies discovered Shropshire in a parked vehicle after hours at the Woodside Bridge Fishing Access near Corvallis. The officers then conducted a welfare check due to the colder temperatures and discovered 650 grams of marijuana, two semi automatic firearms, miscellaneous THC products and different forms of hash oil.
Shropshire is currently being held in Ravalli County jail with a $5,000 bond.
