MADE Fair Montana teams up with Western Montana Fair for 2018

Posted: Updated:

MISSOULA - The Missoula County Fairgrounds announced Monday that The MADE Fair Marketplace will join forces with the Western Montana Fair this year.

The organization of artisans and makers is presenting the NEW MADE Fair Marketplace in August during fair week, which will last six days in the Commercial Building at the fairgrounds.

Organizers say the MADE Fair Marketplace will be heavily promoted as a new attraction, which will allow Montana artists to be more prominently featured during the event.

Made Fair Lead Organizer Carol Lynn Lapotka was on hand to talk about the opportunities for Montana artists.

“So we like to create opportunities for artists in Montana and regionally to showcase what they make and directly interact with customers and our fans that support handmade local products as well as just get to see all that is out there and maybe get inspired,” she said.

If you would like to be one of these featured artists you can go to the handMADE Montana website for an application

The MADE Fair will be held June 24 at Caras Park.
