1 person dead in Ravalli County crash

(UPDATE, February 10, 2018) A 74-year-old Hamilton man was killed and two others were injured after a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 93 near Victor on Friday.

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, around 10:40 a.m, a GMC Sierra was traveling south when it crossed the intersection into oncoming traffic for unknown reasons and sideswiped a Honda Accord.

The GMC Sierra continued south and hit a Chevy Tahoe head-on.

The drivers of the GMC Sierra and the Honda Accord were injured and the driver of the Chevy Tahoe was pronounced dead.

The MHP said all drivers were wearing seatbelts. Drugs, alcohol, and speed are not suspected factors but road conditions at the time of the crash were wet and slushy.

The names of those involved have not yet been released.

(1st Report, February 9, 2018) The Montana Highway Patrol says that one person died in an crash in Ravalli County on Friday.

According to the MHP, it happened along US Highway 93 just south of Victor.

The crash was reported to the MHP at 10:48 a.m. on Friday.

The name of the victim and the cause of the crash have not yet been released.
