MISSOULA - The Missoula County Elections Office is coming up nearly 350 people short of its target for 800 trained election judges to assist with elections in the next year. KALISPELL - Women of all ages and abilities have an opportunity to enjoy a day of ice fishing and learn a few tips from the pros at an upcoming course in Kalispell. FWP's Becoming an Outdoors-Woman program is sponsoring an ice fishing class in Kalispell on Feb. 16 and Feb. 17. This class is for beginning or intermediate female anglers who want to learn the basics or improve their fishing skills. The class fee is $15 and registration is required. MISSOULA - PKS for PKD is a 12-hour soccer game where two teams of 12 players will raise $12,000 and awareness for the PKD Foundation, an organization focused on finding a cure for Polycystic Kidney Disease. The event is to be held at the Missoula Indoor Sports Arena on Feb. 17. Kickoff at 1:30 p.m.

MISSOULA - A benefit dinner and auction for cancer patient Mike McLean, a juvenile probation officer here in Missoula for the past 44 years. Mike was recently diagnosed with Osteosarcoma and to help support her grandfather, Eryka McLean is doing this fundraiser as her senior project. Come on out to the Sunrise Saloon on Feb. 17 at 1 p.m.

KALISPELL - ImagineIF Libraries and Flathead Valley Community College are joining forces with other community organizations to host Making Montana, a two-day celebration of innovation, problem-solving and collaboration. Making Montana will feature a Manufacturing and Technology Expo alongside the fifth annual Kalispell Mini Maker Faire, and will take place in the Expo Building at the Flathead County Fairgrounds on Feb. 23 and Feb. 24.
