WHITEFISH - Whitefish Mountain Resort is having a season to remember.
They've had so much snowfall, that the resort is trending toward record-breaking base depth.
The resort recorded 91" inches of snow in January and topped that in the short month of February, with 121" -- snowing on 22 of the 28 days.
The resort officially surpassed 300" on Jan. 24, the second earliest date reaching the milestone in more than 10 years.
The summit base depth is currently at 147" -- the deepest known base depth to date in ski area history.
