Philipsburg vandalism suspects identified

UPDATE 3:40 p.m. - The Granite County Sheriff's Office has announced that they have identified the suspects in a Philipsburg vandalism case.

PHILIPSBURG - Authorities are looking for your help in identifying suspects in a recent vandalism case.

Granite County Sheriff Scott Dunkerson says the incident happened in the early morning hours of April 29 in the alley behind the Silver Mill Saloon on East Broadway in Philipsburg.

Two men are suspected of kicking in the rear door of the Silver Mill Saloon and damaging a nearby greenhouse early on April 29th. Video surveillance cameras captured images of the two men suspected in the vandalism, but investigators have not been able to identify the men. 

Dunkerson said investigators suspect the men may be from Butte.  Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Granite County Sheriff’s Office at (406) 859-3251 or at: jimr@granitecosheriff.org
