MISSOULA - The Missoula City Band is happy to announce its summer concert series for 2018. A performance will be held each Wednesday evening at the Bonner Park band shell on the corner of Ronald and Hastings streets. All concerts are free and open to the public.

MISSOULA - Missoula County Public Schools has begun registering students for kindergarten for fall 2018. While parents can register students at any time, MCPS is encouraging student registration through April 13. A child must be age 5 on or before Sept. 10, 2018, to register. Click here for more info or to enroll.

KALISPELL - FVCC’s Continuing Education Center is now accepting registrations for its summer lineup of adult classes and youth camps. Kid’s College is scheduled for the weeks of June 18-22 and June 25-29, with morning and afternoon classes for elementary and middle school-age children. MISSOULA - Big Sky High School is looking for folks to serve as judges for their senior projects. The senior project presentations will occur on May 24 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There are three sessions in which individuals can sign up to judge- morning, afternoon or all day. The school will provide lunch along with a hospitality room. Click here to sign up.

STEVENSVILLE - Stevensville High School senior Clarysa Pruszinski will be putting on a superhero run to support our volunteer firefighters. The event will take place on May 5 on the Bitterroot Trail next to the Westside Firehouse from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. Click here for more information and or to pre-register.

MISSOULA - Hellgate, Big Sky, and Sentinel students are doing a group fundraiser to attend the National Tournament in Fort Lauderdale. This year nine students from Missoula will travel to the event. A Showcase Night will be held on May 5 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Westside Lanes. Students will be performing their speeches and be showcasing a mock debate. There will be a silent auction and other events.

MISSOULA - A Carousel for Missoula is hosting a one-of-a-kind fundraiser at the carousel on May 6, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Larry Pirnie, a Western artist from Missoula has donated 15 framed, original paintings. Each painting will be sold for $1,200 during the event. All proceeds will support the Carousel and the Dragon Hollow play area.

MISSOULA - Join the Missoula Relay for Life for their community birthday party on June 9. There will be a brunch honoring survivors will start a 9 a.m. with the festivities running until closing ceremonies at 2 p.m.
