MISSOULA - The Missoula City Band is happy to announce its summer concert series for 2018. A performance will be held each Wednesday evening at the Bonner Park band shell on the corner of Ronald and Hastings streets. All concerts are free and open to the public.

KALISPELL - FVCC’s Continuing Education Center is now accepting registrations for its summer lineup of adult classes and youth camps. Kid’s College is scheduled for the weeks of June 18-22 and June 25-29, with morning and afternoon classes for elementary and middle school-age children. MISSOULA - Missoula Neighborhood Watch invites anyone wishing more information about the program to protect and help your neighborhood to come to their quarterly meeting on Tuesday, June 12 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.at the Jack Reidy Meeting Room in the Missoula City Council Building. Representatives from Missoula law enforcement will present a crime report and answer questions from citizens about any concerns or comments regarding life in Missoula.

MISSOULA - Flag Day celebrations in Missoula will take place on June 14 starting at 7 p.m. at the open field just north of Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery. An opening ceremony will outline the history of the American flag and the story of Flag Day.  Any tattered flag needing to be retired can be brought to the VFW Post 209 at 245 W. Main Street, American Legion Post 27 at 825 Ronan Street or two locations of Missoula Textile before June 14. 

MISSOULA - Soft Landing Missoula is excited to announce the 2018 World Refugee Day Community Celebration and Soccer Tournament taking place on June 16. This day-long event will be held at the new Fort Missoula Regional Park soccer fields and pavilion. Cheer on the athletes and enjoy a free dinner following the games which includes a sampling of dishes from local refugee families.

POTOMAC - The Blackfoot Rendezvous to benefit the Potomac school's explorers program and will be held at Potomac School on June 16. The event includes everything from food, to live music, wagon rides, and even an obstacle marathon fun run. Click here for updates or more information on the event.

MISSOULA - Over 500 quilts will be hung at Big Sky High School, on June 22 and June 23 as part of the Missoula Quilters’ Guild 17th bi-annual quilt show. Two dozen vendors, a boutique, a silent auction, and free quilting demonstrations will be hosted in the high school cafeteria. Click here for more information on the event.

KALISPELL - PTA Physical Therapy has partnered with Make-A-Wish® Montana, to hold the first annual PTA 5K for the Kids, on Saturday, June 23. Race time is 11:30 a.m. and will be followed by an awards presentation and celebration BBQ. The race begins and ends at the PTA Whitefish Stage clinic. This is a family fun event - runners, walkers and strollers are all invited to participate in the 5K or walk a mile.  There is a $25 registration fee.  Proceeds raised from the run will go to Make-A-Wish® Montana.

CORVALLIS - Fin's Tap House in Corvallis will hold a benefit for the critters on Saturday, June 30 from 5 p.m. until closing. Come enjoy live music, delicious food and some brews all with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Bitter Root Humane Association.

BIGFORK - The 4th of July Parade in Bigfork has been voted “Best Parade in the Flathead” year after year and will start at 12 p.m. The 2018 4th of July Parade will celebrate the PRCA Bigfork Summer Rodeo, on July 6 and July 7, with a Western Stars and Stripes theme. New this year, parking for the parade will be in the field at the intersection of Highway 35 and 82.  Call (406) 837-5888 for more info.
