Man reported missing found safe in Seeley Lake Area

SEELEY LAKE - The Missoula County Sheriff's Office reports that a man who was reported missing near Clearwater Junction south of Seeley Lake on Monday has been found alive.

The motorcycle that the 20-year-old was riding was found in the Nine Mile Prairie area without gas. Searchers also found a campfire that was believed to be his last known location.

MCSO officials say the man was not hurt during his ordeal. MCSO deputies, members of Seeley-Swan Search and Rescue, the Bureau of Land Management, Two Bear Air and the US Forest Service all participated in the search.

SEELEY LAKE - Authorities are searching for a man who has been reported missing in the Seeley Lake area.

Missoula County deputies, members of Seeley-Swan Search and Rescue, the Bureau of Land Management, Two Bear Air and US Forest Service personnel are searching for a 20-year-old male who was reported missing on Monday.

Missoula County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Brenda Bassett says the motorcycle he was riding was found in the Nine Mile Prairie area without gas. Searchers did find a campfire that was believed to be his last known location.
