MISSOULA - A Missoula man who is accused of stabbing his wife several times Monday afternoon appeared in Missoula Justice Court Tuesday afternoon on an attempted murder charge.

Prosecutors say Emmitt Hogsten choked and stabbed his wife after she told him she wanted a divorce.
