BONNER- Lesa Homer's 5th grade class at Bonner School hasn't touched their science books all year. Instead, they are learning by getting up and out and into the great outdoors.
The Outdoor Education Program takes the class out to the Lubrecht Forest in the winter to study animal habitat.
