MISSOULA - Police will patrol the Rattlesnake area Wednesday morning before school and throughout the day in response to Tuesday's report of a stranger offering a ride to a 10-year-old girl.

Investigators say the girl was walking near the intersection Creek Crossing Road and Rattlesnake
