Yellowstone County reports 43rd COVID-19 related death

RiverStone Health, Yellowstone County’s public health department, reports another Yellowstone County resident has died due to COVID-19 related illness.

A man in his 90s passed away in a Yellowstone County hospital on Friday, Aug. 28. This most recent death is reflected on the state COVID-19 tracking map.

"This morning a family woke up without a husband, father, grandfather, brother or uncle for the first time due to COVID-19. I offer sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased and hope their grief lessens over time," John Felton, Yellowstone County Health Officer and RiverStone Health President and CEO, said in a release.

To date, there have been 104 COVID-19 related deaths in Montana, 43 of which have been in Yellowstone County.
