MISSOULA – A local business is chipping in to help after a truck driver was hurt in a crash on Interstate 90 that claimed the life of a Missoula man.

Brian Leischner was just four miles from home on March 20 when a car traveling in the wrong direction on I-90 near East Missoula struck his semi truck head-on, putting him in the hospital unable to provide for his family.

Leischner’s family has reached out for help, and Fuel Fitness in Missoula is matching and donating funds from all new membership signups from the day Brian was hospitalized until Easter Sunday when they will present the family a check.

Fuel Fitness is also accepting any donations, as well. You can check out their Facebook page for more information.

Martin J. Elison, 62, of Missoula died in the crash which shut down I-90 near mile marker 106 for nine hours and backed up traffic for hours.
