MISSOULA — Scattered snow showers will be seen across west-central and southwest Montana Wednesday morning.
Clearing skies are then expected by the afternoon with just a few light snow showers remaining in the mountains.
Northwest Montana will remain dry and breezy today with some clouds in the morning then sunny skies by the afternoon. High temperatures Wednesday will struggle to get out of the 30's.
Clearing skies will allow for the coldest air of the season to move in tonight.
Expect to be waking up to temperatures in the single digits and teens Thursday morning with the coldest air being felt in southwest Montana. By Thursday afternoon temperatures will top out only in the 40's with sunny skies overhead.
Expect another very cold morning Friday with temperatures slowly warming up into the upper 40's to low 50's by the afternoon.
Overall its looking like a very nice Autumn weekend with sunny skies and high temperatures in the 50's.
