MISSOULA — Off and on light scattered showers will remain in the forecast Friday and Saturday. Much like yesterday, expect some sun and clouds Friday afternoon with an isolated rain shower or thunderstorm popping up as well. Saturday will see more clouds with scattered off and on showers sticking around. Expect temperatures in the middle to upper 50's Friday and upper 50's to low 60's Saturday.
High pressure will start to build in next week, however, there is still uncertainty with the models on exactly how strong this high will be. Confidence is not great on specific details, however, the over all pattern shows a general warming trend into the 60's and low 70's by the start of next week. A few showers also look possible as a weak system moves through Tuesday into Wednesday.
By the end of next week, models start to come into better agreement for warm and dry weather. As high pressure continues to build temperatures look to be in the 70's to possibly even low 80's by next weekend.
