At 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, the Hungry Horse Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle fire in Badrock Canyon.
The fire ended up being the result of a head-on collision between two vehicles with "extensive damage and multiple injuries," the Hungry Horse Volunteer Fire Department reported.
The extent of the damage and injuries was not specified but their report says those in the vehicle that caught fire were able to get out and find safety. Everyone in the two vehicles was eventually transferred to a local hospital for further evaluations.
"As always we couldn’t do it without all of the volunteers we have in our communities," the release on Facebook said.
