The Lewis & Clark County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) have identified the body found at Canyon Ferry Lake on Sunday as 57 year-old Murray Fladeland of Helena.

A fisherman found the body in a bay between the Chalet and Fish Hawk recreation areas, off of West Shore Drive.

Sheriff/Coroner Leo Dutton said Fladeland had a camp set up at Fish Hawk that included a tent and fishing gear.

Cause and manner of the man's death are still undetermined at this time pending the results of an autopsy.

Dutton did note there was evidence found that suggests an accident.
