MISSOULA – The International Choral Festival has returned to Missoula.

The event happens once every three years and this time around organizers are expecting the most international visitors ever.

Over 400 singers from China, Estonia, Indonesia and many other countries are coming to town. The festival isn’t competitive, and people of all ages are invited to attend.

Executive Director Jennifer Cooper says it’s one of the top choir festivals in the country.

“The level of music that you’ll hear is fantastic. You get to hear culture from around the world, you get to see cool costumes, it’s just a really fun event to be a part of,” Cooper said.

All of Wednesday’s events are free and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. the Out to Lunch shuttle bus will run from the Adam’s Center.

The rest of the week is full of concerts in the Music Recital Hall, the Dennison Theatre and St. Anthony building. The finale concert is from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Saturday at the Adams Center.

Admission buttons to the International Choral Festival can be purchased at the event’s office at 312 East Pine Street.
