If you’re a regular in the baking aisle at your local supermarket, you already know that there are a ton of baking mixes available to choose from. There are the usual flavors. The usual brands. The usual pastry options, including cake, brownies and cookies. You don’t need to be a master baker to whip up something delicious.

This summer, you’ll find one addition (or four, rather!) at your local grocery store from a brand you know… but may not associate with baking. For the first time ever, chocolatier Godiva is launching premium baking kits — and just wait until you see them!

Godiva

Available in four dessert options — molten lava cake, brownie cheesecake swirl, raspberry chocolate torte and flourless chocolate torte — the baking mixes each feature 72% dark Godiva chocolate callets (chocolate chips, but bigger). Created to assist at-home bakers in making premium desserts, all you’ll need aside from the mix are staples like eggs and butter. The mixes even include a disposable baking dish, specific to the dessert you’re making.

The mixes are created in partnership with General Mills and can be found in the baking aisle of most major grocery stores and retailers — like Walmart, Kroger, Wakefern, Supervalu and AWG — for around $4.99.

Godiva isn’t the only company giving us new desserts with which to stock up your kitchen just in time for summer. Pillsbury has two new creations: sweet biscuits with icing and place and bake brownies. You’ll find the biscuits in blueberry and chocolate chip flavors and the brownies in fudge, peanut butter and marshmallow, all in grocery stores nationwide by the end of July.

Betty Crocker is also joining in on the fun this summer with new chilled treats, which come with a mousse mix and topping in chocolate, lemon, French vanilla and key lime. They’re single-serving and ready in five minutes, so they seem perfect if you’re in need of a quick dessert to cool down. You can find them in stores now.
