Can you believe it’s been 10 years of the Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas?

For an entire decade, the Hallmark Channel has been pumping out holiday-themed feel-good movies that seem to get more popular every year. OK, OK, maybe they aren’t the highest-quality films, but most of us are in need of something light and fluffy to watch in the midst of holiday stress. You can pretty much guarantee that a Hallmark Channel Christmas flick will have a happy ending!

Plus, they’re on 24/7, so if you find yourself wrapping presents at 1 a.m. when the kids are sleeping, you’ve got something better to watch than infomercials.

For 2019, the Countdown to Christmas is debuting 24 new films between Oct. 26 and Dec. 28. Here is Hallmark’s full schedule:

What To Watch

Where to begin! The first movie, “Christmas Wishes & Mistletoe Kisses,” will air at 8 p.m. Eastern on Oct. 26. Based on the romance novel by Jenny Hale, it tells the story of a single mom who is an interior decorator and what happens when she’s hired to decorate a hunky millionaire’s mansion at Christmastime. (Hmm, could it be love?!?)

You can check out the trailer here (and check out that hunky millionaire for yourself):

There will be plenty more Christmas flicks where that came from. “Christmas At Dollywood” stars Dolly Parton (of course!) and Danica McKellar from “The Wonder Years.” That film premieres on Dec. 8 at 8 p.m Eastern.

McKellar’s character is named Rachel Lewis, and she is a single mom and Broadway producer. She learns investors mismanaged her holiday theatrical production into bankruptcy and the show closes before it even opens.

Lewis then gets an opportunity to produce a show for the Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival at Dollywood, during which she works with someone with whom she builds a romantic relationship. (Sounds like a Hallmark movie, for sure!)

If you’re more into Elvis than Dolly, make sure to watch “Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holidays,” starring Priscilla Presley and “Entourage” star Adrian Grenier, on Nov. 23 at 8 p.m Eastern.

Lots of actors from TV shows of yore are starring in flicks this year. Jodie Sweetin from “Fuller House” will appear in the new movie “Merry & Bright,” which debuts on at 8 p.m. Eastern on Nov. 2.

Lacey Chabert, from “Party of Five” and “Mean Girls,” will appear in “Christmas in Rome,” which premieres Nov. 30 at 8 p.m. Eastern.

You can catch “One Tree Hill” star Chad Michael Murray in “Write Before Christmas,” which premieres on Nov. 17 at 8 p.m. Eastern.

Additionally, country singer Kellie Pickler will appear in “The Mistletoe Secret,” which debuts Nov. 10 at 8 p.m. Eastern.

Countdown To Christmas Reruns

Since the Countdown to Christmas needs to fill 24 hours worth of airtime, you better believe that the Hallmark Channel is going to rerun some old favorites.

If you want to see “Fuller House” star Candace Cameron Bure — who is something of a patron saint of Hallmark Christmas movies — do what she does best, catch 2015’s “A Christmas Detour” on Oct. 27th at 2 p.m. Eastern.

Another old favorite is “A Christmas Melody,” also starring Chabert and directed by none other than Mariah Carey. It will air on Oct. 30th at 6 a.m. Eastern. (Maybe you’ll want to TiVo that one, but hey, why not watch Christmas movies at 6 a.m.?!)

Whew! And that’s only scratching the surface of this year’s Countdown to Christmas. Clearly you’ll need to peruse the Hallmark Channel listings and find out exactly which films you’ll want to watch.

Start penciling them in your calendar now!
