BUTTE – A youth mental health treatment facility in Butte is closing its doors, leaving more than 100 people out of a job.
Acadia Montana announced its closing operations but the facility didn’t give an indication of why it’s closing. The Butte Job Service is now in rapid response mode to help place workers.
“We’re going to bring folks from unemployment in from Helena, ourselves and resources as in career future, sit down with them kind of help them with their unemployment claims process and offer them any other resources that we have,” Butte Job Service manager Michael Monroe said.
Those with the job service say they’ll connect Acadia employees with local employers with openings.
