KALISPELL – An internet outage that impacted a good portion of the Flathead Valley over last two days has been restored.
According to Montana Sky Facebook post, a Flathead internet provider, a fiber optics line was cut in the Woods Bay area Sunday night.
The cause of the outage is pointed at power lines on the ground and a tree was on fire across the lines.
The outage impacted Charter Spectrum, a few Montana Sky fiber optic only customers south of Bigfork and also a few cell companies.
According to Montana Sky Facebook post, service was restored Monday at 11 a.m.
