Public’s help sought on Sanders County homicide case

THOMPSON FALLS – The Sanders County Sheriff’s Office is looking to the public for information on a murder in Agency, near Dixon, in early October.

William “Bill” Conko Camel was shot and killed on Oct. 5.

In a press release, the Sanders County Sheriff’s Office says they have identified three persons of interest in the case, and they have been investigating the homicide.

Camel’s family continues to maintain that Preston Rossbach, a suspect in the Missoula double murder at the Mountain Valley Inn, was involved in the Sanders County case as well.

A reward of $1,000 is being offered by the Sanders County Crime Stoppers for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible. You can remain anonymous.
