BILLINGS – Police in Billings are investigating what they say is a homicide.
A 25-year-old Billings man was shot to death in the 2100 block of Canyon Drive on Wednesday and a 30-year-old Billings man is being treated at a hospital for a gunshot wound.
MTN News talked with one neighbor– who did not want to be identified– but said that she heard the gunshots.
“I heard some gunshots and asked my husband if that sounded like a gun to him and he said yeah. Then there was a pause and there was two more.”
“So it is surprising and shocking you’re sitting here, standing here looking down the neighborhood trying to figure out like everybody else is what’s going on.”
The home has been used as an assisted living facility and a group home in the past, but it’s not known if that is still the case.
Police have not released any names at this point.
