MISSOULA – Drivers can expect to find some delays on a busy Missoula road beginning next week.
City of Missoula Street Division crews will begin a milling and paving project on Stephens Avenue between South Sixth Street West and Mount Avenue on May 20.
The work will take three to four weeks and will result in an all-new travel surface for the street, eliminating ruts and potholes.
Crews will work on alternating sides of the four-lane street and will work in one lane at a time, while the remaining lane remains open for travel most of the time.
There may be short, intermittent detours and traffic will move more slowly than usual.
